KEEPING THE BRITISH END UP: SAUCY UK CINEMA 1958-1983
Simon Sheridan's book Keeping the British End Up is a godsend to the dedicated fan of that most (*ahem*) underappreciated film style: the British sex film. Presented in chronological order, Sheridan writes entertaining reviews of each film and discusses its place in history. Sheridan interviewed many of the people involved in making the films, and the result of his dedication is hugely entertaining. It's difficult to come away from the book without wanting to search out at least a few of these old gems, many of which are not too easy to come by.
