When ShadyGuy realized there were plenty of us likeminded pervs who love our lady badasses on CG he asked me to supervise this project. All the titles are deemed safe so this project aims to encompass every true Violent Pink movie created in the 70's by the major studios.

This can be a tricky question because people sometimes confuse Pinky Violence with Pinku Eiga (more on that genre below). A true PV film contains little or no softcore sex scenes and focuses more on violence. They have a strong female lead(s) and often revenge is a major theme. Other popular themes are rival girl gangs clashing and prison settings. Major studio Toei led the charge in developing violent pink films and produced the vast majority of them. Toho and Nikkatsu each produced about a half dozen films during the height of the pinky violence era which was the 5 year period from 1969 to 1974.

These films produced several iconic actresses, forever linking them to the genre. The “big 4” were Meiko Kaji (Lady Snowblood), Reiko Ike (Sex and Fury), Reiko Oshida (Delinquent Girl Boss: Worthless to Confess), & Miki Sugimoto (Terrifying Girl's High School). All had concurrent success as J-Pop idols, except for Ike whose life too closely mirrored her on-screen characters in the late Seventies getting her into trouble with the law.
